Today we celebrate the birthday of an international icon our very own
father of Africa - Tata Nelson Mandela fondly known as Madiba here in
South Africa. (Tata = Grandfather)
This inspirational icon has
given so much for this country and other countries have taken his ethos
and used it for their nation as well. We thank him for his sacrifice.
Not being to live a "normal" life imprisoned on Robben Island in Table
Bay, Cape Town for so many years, daily looking at the backdrop of this
stunning mountain, where I am sure he found peace in his soul, as this
mountain has been rumoured to have healing properties.
Working in that lime quarry, burning his eyes with its reflective white brilliance, damaging his eyes.

at 95 you have given the whole planet such joy, we hope that this day
will truly be celebrated around the world with the 67 minutes we are
encouraged to spend do good helping others. You gave 13996800+ minutes -
what is 67!
